At Chapple & Locke, we will always provide the highest possible service and take the best possible care of your vehicle. Our Terms & Conditions are not here to be daunting, just to keep both the company and customer protected at all costs.

Booking
- Chapple & Locke will not accept liability for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in a vehicle whilst it is being protected and enhanced
- We cannot guarantee any firm times when accepting your booking.
- Our protection and enhancement work times are an estimate only. Each vehicle is different and may require more or less time to fulfil the service type.
- We reserve the right to take a debit or credit card details to secure the booking
- We reserve the right to alter or move a booking in line with weather conditions and /or machinery or equipment failure.
- All vehicles are protected and enhanced at the customer’s own risk.
- Chapple & Locke reserves the right to refuse or deny any booking or continue with their service if they deem the customer to be unreasonable
- Chapple & Locke reserves the right to refuse or deny customer demands above and beyond the booked service.
- Chapple & Locke will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards any of its staff under any circumstances and will take the relevant actions should any such behaviours be encountered
Pricing
- Chapple & Locke reserve the right to charge an hourly rate of £30.00 (or proportion thereof) for any work that is not within the boundaries of the booking
- Our prices are based on service type & type of car if applicable. Any price we quote over the telephone or email is an estimate only and should be used as a guide and not a guarantee
- Chapple & Locke reserves the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition, the type of vehicle and the customer location.
- Chapple & Locke reserves the right to amend any price during the service if applicable, should it differ from the original estimate
- Any service may be asked to be secured with a debit or credit card prior to arrival of our staff (see cancellation policy).
Payment/Gift Certificates
- Payments can be made via Cash, Bank Transfer & Credit/Debit Cards.
- Payments are due on the day of work completed unless otherwise stated
- Invoices are due on date of issue, after 7 days a £10 late payment fee will be applied and every 7 days thereafter.
- Chapple & Locke will provide Gift Certificates when requested.
- Payments must be received and cleared before a Gift Certificate will be issued.
- Gift Certificates may be used as full or part payment for any of Chapple & Locke services.
- Any difference in value between Gift Certificate tendered and services supplied must be paid on the date of the service.
- Gift Certificates are usually valid 6 months from date of issue, or in any event only until the expiration date on the Gift Certificate. If the Gift Certificate expires before the services are completed, no refund will be given.
- The Gift Certificate has no monetary value.
- Gift Certificates must be valid and presented to the Company on the date the work is carried out.
Our service
- We may ask you where you heard about Chapple & Locke in order to gauge our marketing strategies
- Chapple & Locke has public and employees liability insurance
- Chapple & Locke is fully insured against any damages that may have been caused by us whilst the work is carried out by us.
- We will not be held responsible for any damage to your vehicle arising from ill fitting trim, loose or faulty parts, door mirrors held on with tape, etc. Please ensure you make us aware of any potential problems before we start the service.
- In the interest of safety, Local Councils and insurers forbid our work vehicles in certain areas that may be hazardous. These can include some public roads, in public car parks, on construction sites and on oil or gas installations. It is therefore the customer’s responsibility to check areas for safety, and work will not be carried out should we consider that any area of work is unsafe.
Cancellation
- We require 48 hours notice to cancel any bookings.
- Failure to provide 48 hours notice will result in a minimum charge of 50% of the service price or cost of products.
- Chapple & Locke reserve the right to take full payment if a booking is cancelled on the day without prior agreement.
- Chapple & Locke reserves the right to alter or amend a booking time/date without penalty but wherever possible will let the customer know.
- Chapple & Locke reserve the right to alter a booking or move a booking in accordance to weather conditions and/or equipment failure without penalty to the company.
Facebook Competitions
- Competition Winners must use the service within Chapple & Locke's allotted service areas.
- Only entries on the original page post/picture will be included in the competition.
- Only entries that follow all criteria listed on the original post will be included in the competition.
- All competitions will be drawn from a bucket of names by a non employee after the competition has ended.
- We may take photos of you and/or your vehicle when receiving your prize to share on social media.
- Any entries deemed unfit for the public eye may be cancelled by us. This includes bad language, cyber bullying and any other obscenity.
- These terms and conditions apply to all competitions unless otherwise stated on the original competition post itself.
